I was tagged by a fellow blogger and school friend, Heather H., to write 10 weird, random things, little known facts or habits about myself.
So here I go – my 10 random, weird, little known facts or habits about me (in no particular order):
1) I am happy as a clam to go to open houses – new or existing homes. I also like looking at cars. I can name most any and all type of vehicle on the road. Sometimes when we’re driving, Sweet Hubby will quiz me and ask me what kind of car is coming towards us…I almost always can tell him.
2) I competed in gymnastics from 5th grade all through high school. I went to the National Championships in North Carolina two times in high school. At one of those meets, Dominique Dawes and Shannon Miller (both competed in the Olympics) were there competing as well. Of course, they won – but on one event I placed 32nd in the nation! I was the Idaho State All-Around Champion many times. I decided not to compete in college...I was tired of the busyness competing brought to my life and was ready to just have fun with friends and "relax"...(gymnastics can be kinda stressful at the competitive levels - fun, but stressful)...
3) Sweet Hubby & I went to daycare together – and neither of us knew it until I was scrapbooking a couple years ago and saw a picture of me in daycare and recognized him in the back row of the picture! We confirmed with our parents that it was him and that we did indeed go to the same daycare growing up…too funny…
4) Here are the body parts I can get to “pop”: jaws, neck, elbows, shoulders, knuckles, hips, knees, toes, Achilles tendon (thanks to an injury from running so much last summer).
5) I am an Idaho Native - and married my high school sweetheart, who is also an Idaho native. I find it humorous to listen to people who did not grow up in Idaho, but have lived here for maybe 10 years or so, talk about the weather (this topic is the most funny to me, b/c if you moved here after 1992, you wouldn't know that Boise used to get a ton of snow every year - like this year or more even...ask anyone who grew up here), traffic, housing, jobs, etc...I love to hear their opinion of how Boise (or Boy-zee, tee hee!) "used" to be.
6) I like to organize – and am so thankful to my mom for giving me her organization and "non-clutter" genes – it does make life so much easier! Although looking at my house right now, you wouldn't know I really do like organization. Ahhh...the joys of having 3 kids...

I like what my friend H.H. said on her blog – “I'm only organized to make life easier so that I can have more fun!” That is so true!!
7) Here’s another one that H.H. said on her blog – that I’m going to copy: "I wish that I could build my own subdivision, have all of my favorite people live there, and live happily ever after. When I'm in heaven one day this will be true!"
8) I really react to mosquito bites – I will swell up really bad and it's no fun! I almost dread summer b/c of mosquitos…almost to the point of stressing going outside b/c of them! It’s ridiculous…but if you swelled up like me – you would too!!
9) I LOVE the ocean and I love sunsets – they don’t have to be together, though. I would love a sunset from my backyard just as much as on a tropical beach. Okay, well, maybe I would like the sunset on the tropical beach a little better…yeah I would…but none-the-less, I LOVE sunsets. Also, I LOVE the Caribbean. Thoroughly enjoy travelling with our friends.
10) If I’m craving something sweet, but don’t want to totally pig-out, I’ll eat a spoonful of peanut butter and jelly together – yum! My favorite salty food is buttery popcorn – yum!

That was so great! Thanks for playing! I cant believe you guys were in the same preschool together, that's nuts! It sounds like we have so much in common! I do love sunsets too, especially in my back yard in the summer, but I have to say...the ocean from a distance is fine but I dont want to be in it...its scares me to death!
