In your heart you plan your life. But the Lord decides where your steps will take you. Proverbs 16:9

For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food,
for love and friends,
For everything
Thy goodness sends.

So...what's the deal with SNOW?

A friend of mine has a blog - and she does a great job with it. Here is a recent one she posted about Snow:

I just have to ask the question… Why do we get all excited about snow in December, as though it has some magical power to make everything right and bring on earth…and then curse it in January (theoretically wiping away all that peace we had in December)?
Ah, yes, welcome to the dog-days of winter! And, welcome to Idaho. It’s funny to hear everyone - my dear husband included - talk about the unbelievable amount of snow this year and then “blame” it on “la nina.” When, at the end of the day, sister, let me tell you… Once upon a time there was a place called IDAHO. And we had snow…and a lot of it IN THE VALLEY EVERY YEAR!

As for me? I love it. I love shoveling it too, because it offers an excuse to do something productive outside, and play!
